Quality and Safety Approach
At Kerry’s Place, we are committed to delivering high-quality services and supports through best practices offered to our persons supported.
Our plans to achieve this standard are outlined through the strategies listed below.
Quality Improvement Plan
Through our Quality Improvement Plan(QIP), we use a systematic and coordinated action plan to measure and improve the effectiveness of our services in all areas of our organization. Our key priority areas give us the foundation of our plan with an additional focus on quality dimensions of appropriateness, client-centered services and safety. The QIP enables us to carry out high standards as well as involving key stakeholders along the way.
Client Safety Plan
The primary focus of this plan is to promote a culture of safety and protect persons supported at Kerry’s Place. This document serves as a framework and outline of our approach to the health and safety of persons supported. It also summarizes the current and ongoing client safety practices and initiatives in our organization.
Person Centred Approach
Our Person Centred Approach utilizes our values here at Kerry’s Place as the guiding principles to care. It also places persons supported and their families at the centre of planning and decision making regarding their supports. A visual has been developed outlining our values and providing examples of how each is demonstrated throughout services.
