food, art, people, and knowledge – Black History Month Market in Mississauga

Kerry’s Place respite participants and staff celebrated Black History Month by attending the Black History Month Market in Mississauga on February 24th.

Christian, Sanique, Carl, and Taylor had the opportunity to experience and observe various aspects of black culture from around the world. We enjoyed the food, art, people, and knowledge shared through books and stories.

Not only were we able to enjoy what was shared, but we were welcomed with open arms and experienced inclusiveness at its fullness.
