Katrina Says Goodbye to the Yellow Brick Road

On September 8th, 2022, Belleville’s Katrina, a proud participant in the Kerry’s Place Autism Services’ SILS program, was able to cross a very big item off of her bucket list: seeing Elton John live in concert.

Katrina and her staff travelled by train to Toronto, attended the “amazing” show at the Rogers Centre before spending the night in a downtown hotel.

Katrina’s dream was made possible by her being open and collaborative around her goals, working with her support team to ensure the trip went off without a hitch. This success was also made possible through the generosity of Kerry’s Place Autism Services’ Designated Donations funding, as well as judicious use of Katrina’s Passport funds.

We here at Kerry’s Place are beyond pleased with the outcome and are very glad that Katrina got to witness Sir Elton say his final Toronto goodbye to the Yellow Brick Road.
