Get active, explore nature and reconnect!
This group program is for Autistic children and teens ages 5 – 17 who want to connect with nature and each other. It promotes physical and mental wellness by giving participants a chance to explore nature through hikes and walks, which has the proven benefit of promoting mental wellness and recovery from mental illness.
Parents and caregivers will be required to join their children for selected sessions.
This program is delivered in partnership between Kerry’s Place Autism Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
Note: Kerry’s Place will schedule sample sessions for all enrolled participants. Sample sessions help us determine the best match for each participant based on the recommended support ratio and if the program curriculum fits their needs.
