Practice being a good sport!
This group program is for Autistic children ages 5-9 who want to build their social, teamwork, and cooperation skills through play. Participants will play sports and recreational activities together to learn and practice inclusion, participation and cooperation skills.
They’ll also build skills like demonstrating respect, tolerating a loss, leadership, and other parts of good sportsmanship. Each session is built around growing these skills while also developing play.
Note: Kerry’s Place will schedule sample sessions for all enrolled participants. Sample sessions help us determine the best match for each participant based on the recommended support ratio and if the program curriculum fits their needs.
