Transitional Aged Youth Socials: Pathway to Indepedence

Build your pathway toward independence!

This 10-week group program is for Autistic youth ages 14-18 who want to improve their daily living skills to achieve greater independence. Participants will build their skills in areas such as establishing routines, healthy eating, job readiness, preparing for post-secondary, and social awareness.

Sessions are built around educational lessons, hands-on activities and games to practice new skills and have fun while learning! Sessions are broken down as follows:

Week 1: Routine Building
Week 2: Healthy Eating
Week 3: Job Readiness
Week 4: Interviewing Skills
Week 5: Financial Literacy
Week 6: Identity
Week 7: Managing Emotions
Week 8: Online Safety
Week 9: Post-Secondary Support
Week 10: Wrap up and Review
