Grow your confidence in the kitchen!
This group program is for Autistic children and teens ages 6-17 who want to work together to learn about meal preparation and explore new foods. Participants will learn the life skills related to good nutrition, practicing food safety, and following recipes while building their teamwork and collaboration skills. Participants will also be encouraged to explore their senses through baking and cooking activities that promote confidence, creativity and cooperation in the kitchen.
Note: Kerry’s Place will schedule sample sessions for all enrolled participants. Sample sessions help us determine the best match for each participant based on the recommended support ratio and if the program curriculum fits their needs.
