We were proud to celebrate 50 years of support, achievements, and progress at Kerry’s Place and in the Autism sector! Advocacy Day 2024 brought together key Members of the Provincial Parliament, and community members to raise awareness about the ongoing need for services that enhance the quality of life for Autistic children, youth, adults, and their families.
Our event opened with welcome remarks from our CEO and President, Dr. Susan Coke, followed by inspiring speeches from MPPs Michael Parsa, Hon. Monique Taylor, John Fraser, and Aislinn Clancy. Lise Lareau, Chair of our Family Advisory Committee, and Jan Stewart, Chair of the Board of Directors, also shared heartfelt reflections on their journeys with Kerry’s Place. The ASD Band also joined us, adding a beautiful note to the evening.
