The rainbow flag is a symbol of the LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, plus any other self-identifying member,) pride and community.
The colours reflect the diversity of the community. The flag is often used as a symbol during pride events and marches. So why is Kerry’s Place flying the Rainbow flag? With studies showing many in the ASD community identifying as LBGTQIA+, we at Kerry’s Place want to show respect, and value the dignity and uniqueness of all persons.
WE FLY THE FLAG IN SOLIDARITY. WE FLY THE FLAG IN SUPPORT.
