Appointed to the Kerry’s Place Board of Directors in March 2024, Tom brings significant corporate and non-profit board experience, including in the developmental services sector. He also brings a lived experience of having a neuro-diverse son with special needs.

Tom currently serves on the board of Brewers Retail Inc. and on the Advisory Board of Novation Solutions Inc. (aka DealMaker). He has served on numerous private and public company boards in the past, including CI Financial Corporation (TSX) and Solium Capital Inc. (TSX). He has served on the boards of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, HBKRH Foundation (2004 to 2019), Aptus Treatment Centre for Complex Disabilities, and St. Clement’s School. Tom’s prior operating positions include Chief Financial Officer of Maple Leaf Foods Inc. and Co-Head of the Investment Banking Group and Member of the Executive Committee of RBC Dominion Securities Inc.Tom is a Fellow, Chartered Professional Accountant, a Fellow, Chartered Business Valuator, and a Life Member of the Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. Tom and his wife, Patricia, enjoy spending time with their son, and with their daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren
