Learn the skills needed to make and keep friendships.
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is a group social intervention program for Autistic teens ages 14 – 17 who want to learn and practice the social skills connected with developing and maintaining friendships.
Participants will learn, discuss and practice various social skills and strategies related to different scenarios.
This program also includes education sessions for parents and caregivers, where they review strategies and lessons to help their teen succeed in making and keeping friends. This group program is overseen by a Kerry’s Place Behaviour Analyst registered under the College of Psychologists Ontario.
Important Note: By registering for this group on MyCommunityHub (MCH), you secure your spot in the free sample session and will be charged later for the cost of the group session. Sample sessions are required for all groups and help us determine the best match for each participant based on the recommended support ratio and if the program curriculum fits their needs.
