Elected to Kerry’s Place Board of Directors in June 2026, Eric is a real estate broker with The Van Grootheest Team, Century 21 Excalibur Realty and brings over 20 years of leadership experience in real estate, governance, development, and community service.

Consistently ranked in the top 1% of agents in both commercial and residential real estate, he has built, managed, and continues to oversee extensive property portfolios while developing a deep expertise in property management, tenant relations, and asset optimization.

Eric previously served on the Board of Wellington County Family and Children’s Services and currently sits on three condominium boards, two of which he chairs. His board experience is complemented by hands-on operational leadership as the owner of a Canadian development company and, more recently, a development and construction company in Quintana Roo, Mexico employing 25 staff.  He has also been involved in establishing an adult addiction recovery centre in Wellington County, as well as restoring and rebuilding several historic buildings in downtown Fergus. 

Eric is the proud father of an individual in our supported living program since 2020.
