The 30th anniversary edition of the Kerry’s Place Golf Classic – presented by champion sponsor Ridley Windows and Doors – took place on June 18, 2026 at Nobleton Lakes Golf Club.
Our signature fundraiser has always been a special day for us and this year was no exception – we raised $137,350.00, surpassing last year’s results. We’ve now raised over $1.2 million since the event’s inception.
Proceeds from the event will support our muti-year housing strategy, helping to fund renovations and expansion to create sensory-friendly, accessible, and tailored housing where Autistic adults can thrive.
For three decades, this event has brought together golf enthusiasts, sponsors, staff, board members and donors all in support of Autistic individuals and families. And once again this year, the day was all about connecting with community.
The event featured friendly competition on the links, including on-course contests and sampling, followed by our live auction and compelling speeches over dinner from Kerry’s Place supported individual Shirin Valaei and Canadian adaptive golfer, Natasha Stasiuk. Their meaningful remarks were a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion, understanding, and the impact we can all make together.
Events like these just don’t happen – they take considerable work to execute. Kerry’s Place is fortunate to have a steering committee comprised of a dedicated group of community-builders – most have been on the committee for many years – that starts meeting every January to begin organizing the tournament.
Many are local business owners, others hail from the private sector. Each and every one draws on their professional and personal networks to help spur participation, sponsorships and in-kind donations. The event would not be the success it is without their gracious support and guidance, and we are grateful to have them in our corner. Thanks to:
John Tackaberry (chair), David Cairns, Doug Cowie, Andy Mascarenhas, Paul Emerson, Mike Smith, Andrew Westerhoek, Jeff Holmes, Kathy Abels.
We would also like to thank all of our generous sponsors:
Magna International Inc., Apple Self Storage, Allegra Printing, GreenGold Construction Ltd., Frank Windows, Pathways Communication, The Daniels Corporation, Risk Management Solutions, People Corporation, Curious Public, Hometech Environmental Ltd., Boise Paper, Custom Leather Canada Ltd., Specialized Scaffold Services, Benson Kearley IFG, Tim Welch Consulting Inc., Pfaff Audi, FSB Insurance, and Smith Rogers Financial.
And we’d like to recognize and thank our on-course sampling supporters:
Caddie Non-Alcoholic Beer, Steigl Radler, and United Stars Wine, as well as our food trucks Laos-C Chef and A’s Pizza.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone event such a success. Your generosity, time, and support made our 30th Golf Classic one to remember.
