Making Sense of the Sensory World

Learn how Autistic persons may experience the sensory world.

This workshop is for parents, caregivers, and professionals who support Autistic people of any age. Participants will get an introduction to the distinct ways Autistic people may experience sensory stimuli. They will learn about the senses and sensory systems that impact everyone differently. They’ll also learn strategies that can assist Autistic individuals in coping with sensory stimuli.

In honour of World Autism Acceptance Day, the April event will also include a 30 minute Q&A period to allow participants the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion about the material.
