The Partners in Autism program provides services to families with youth 12-18 years of age who are facing imminent crisis either in their home, school or community as a result of complex needs and behaviours. Autistic youth and their caregivers receive a circle of support through the Partners in Autism program with the assistance of a Lumenus Service Coordinator and Kerry’s Place Autism Consultant. Collaboratively, the team offers counselling and assists in navigating the service system to remove barriers and provide access to the supports and services required. This program also focuses on enhancing the youth’s social, life, and community skills. This transitional program works with the youth and family for up to 6 months.
