Supported Independent Living (SIL)

The Kerry’s Place Supported Independent Living programs offer Autistic adults customized support and services so they can thrive while living independently. All support and services are based on each participant’s needs and goals. Supports range from daily living skills, such as maintaining a home and meal preparation, to help with accessible, appropriate and affordable housing options.

The type and frequency of supports are completely tailored to the individual and can range from daily to only a few hours a week.

This is a Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services-funded service and referrals for this program must go through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). To find out more about Supported Independent Living, please contact your local DSO branch at https://www.dsontario.ca/

Registering with our Intake Team is the first step to receiving services from Kerry’s Place.
