Kerry’s Place management and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 5284, are currently negotiating
a new contract for about 200 of our Supported Living staff in Peel and Dufferin.
On May 19, 2025, CUPE filed a ‘no board’ report with the Ontario Ministry of Labour which means the union will be in a legal strike position by June 5, 2025. For all the Kerry’s Place families in Supported Living and Community Services, we will continue to inform you and our stakeholders about the ongoing discussions, and will regularly share updates to this page.
